Construction Warehouse Manager

Job Function:

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and manage warehouse activities, scheduling, and coordination with field operations and management. Management oversight would include inventory management, shipping & receiving, trucking, and tools/equipment management. Manage and coordinate deliveries of construction orders parts to field supervisors & support construction management & field management.

Essential Function:

  • Supervise all coordinate warehouse employees and activities.
  • Supervise and implement inventory management records and replenishment.
  • Manage warehouse inventory and inventory of all service trucks.
  • Coordinate delivery of all parts to the field.
  • Coordinate construction deliveries and pickups.
  • Maintain safety regulations and awareness in moving materials and handling hazardous materials.
  • Assist HR with proper on-boarding of new hires, including paperwork, training, and equipment.
  • Ownership of warehouse in all aspects.
  • Manage warehouse personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with a good driving history.

Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience with a background in delivery coordination, receiving and inventory control.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Supervisory/Management experience
  • Computer basic skills must know to operate basic functions of the following: Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; climb; carry; bend; kneel; reach; push; pull and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; noise level is medium/low.

Experience:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift objects.
  • Operate forklifts, loading docks, and company vehicles.
